Stray Dog

Mum had to have him put to sleep today, he was always eating and it turned out that he couldn't digest food properly which was actually the least of his problems so rather than have him suffer she said it was nicer this way.
She's more upset than I am, he moved in with her when I was at uni back in 2003 and when I moved home he always stared at me like I was an interloper. I do miss him but I agree with mum, he was always a bit ill so maybe he's happier now.
